Insurance Guidelines for Non-Church (Private) functions:

Anyone, including parishioners, wishing to use any of the church facilities for a private function must provide proof of general liability coverage in the amount of $1 million at least one week before the event. If the user is unable to obtain coverage through his/her own insurance company, a policy may be obtained through the Diocese for $100. Contact the church office to fill out the application. At the time of reserving space, a Usage Form needs to be completed in the office at St. William.

SPECIAL NOTICE CONCERNING HOSPITAL VISITS—new federal regulations severely restrict the availability of information concerning patients in hospitals. Without notification from family or friends to the parish office it will be impossible to know if a member of the parish is in the hospital.  Please call the Parish office if you know someone would like a visit.

DIOCESAN REQUIREMENTS FOR REPORTING
MINISTRY-RELATED SEXUAL ABUSE OF A MINOR

Any individual having actual knowledge of or reasonable cause to suspect an incident of ministry-related sexual abuse is to immediately report the incident to the Chancery.

The Chancery will be notified of the particulars regarding the Chancery's filing of the incident with civil authorities.

This reporting requirement is not intended to supersede the right of an individual to make a report to civil authority, but is to insure proper, complete and timely reporting.  Should an individual choose to make a report to civil authority, a report is still to be made to the Chancery.
