Handling of Prayer Requests
St. William Catholic Church

Prayer requests that are called into the church office will be handled in the following manner:

1. Parish E-mail alert – requests for prayer for a serious condition of a parish
   member, staff member, and/or their family members
   1. request will be sent to those who have given their e-mail address to the calling committee
2. Listing in the bulletin - requests for prayer for anyone
   1. must be called in by Tuesday Noon to go in the weekend bulletin, if called in after that time it will appear in the next week’s bulletin
   2. all names will be removed quarterly (the first weekend of October, January, April, and July) or upon request
3. Prayers requested at weekend Mass – prayer requests of a serious/critical condition
   1. requests will be given to the Pastor
    

Prayer Box on Altar (No call to the office is needed.)

1. Prayer requests can be placed in the prayer box on the choir side of the Altar at any time. The Thursday evening Prayer Group will include the prayer requests in their weekly prayer meeting.
2. The prayer group empties the prayer box at the end of each month.
