SAFETY NOTICE—In order to assure
safety of persons using our buildings, access will be limited at certain
times to the door near the offices. A sign at the main entrance will
indicate when this procedure is in place. Also, any person who uses a key
to enter the building should keep the doors locked while in the building
if the person is alone. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
We now have an AED (automatic

WHY DO WE SING SO MUCH?--Paul
tells us in Ephesians 5: 18-19 to “be filled with the spirit, addressing
one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs and playing to the
Lord in your hearts.” When you sing or play music at church, you exercise
your faith. Through music and song you give thanks in the name of the
Jesus Christ. You may think your voice has little value but blended with
others it forms a common voice praising God. Music and singing helps the
assembly express and share the gift of faith and strengthens the whole
congregation/assembly. We do not sing at
liturgy; we sing the liturgy
thus taking a full and active participation in the Mass.
